Faith & A Milk Bottle

Here's a milk bottle, actually a Starbucks beverage bottle, that I altered with Decor Elements. It took less than 5 minutes to transfer the image and tie the bow.

Yesterday I wanted to make something, and I pulled out these decorative words that I purchased awhile back for a framing project that I haven't started yet. Anyway, I looked at them, and then opened up my cupboards and found my simple little milk bottle vase, just like the ones my dear friend Nancy always uses for wildflowers. I decided that's what I'd decorate, and then just had to choose which word to use (faith, hope, love, or life).

Yesterday something reminded that God is protecting us and caring for us, whether we are walking through easy pastures or dark valleys. So, I chose "faith." Whatever you are facing right now, keep holding on to Him, He always keeps His promises.

This Decor Elements set comes with the words: faith, hope, love, life.
It is available in these colors and sizes: Black, Chocolate, and Kraft
small ($4.95) and medium ($5.95).

I used the small Chocolate set for this project, as well as Whipser White 5/8 Satin Ribbon.
It's a high quality, double-sided satin ribbon that you may purchase for $8.95 for 15 yards.

Here's a closeup.
