Wedding Shower Decorations & Favors

So, I've been working on these for quite awhile,
and finally got to share them at my sister's bridal shower.

The vases are re-purposed bottles, made pretty with decor elements and ribbon.
(This project is easy enough to do with your children.)

My nieces help set up the flowers, since I had my arms full with my baby, and since they love to do big-girl things.

They did a beautiful job.

The paper lanterns are from Target. They have mini and large illuminated lantern strings.

I decorated this tub* with decor elements and cut the letters out of decor sheets using the Big Shot and letter-cutting dies.

*Also from Target.

The butterfly magnet favors were simple and fun to make as well.
It's nice that you can choose any color or pattern designer series paper to match your preference.

Baby Shower Favors

Here are two favors that I made for a baby shower recently.
The mom-to-be is environmentally responsible, so I gave the ribbon a dual-function.
Unwrap it from the package, and it opens into a bookmark to remember the special little someone.
The Certainley Celery pillow box was made using the Big Shot pillow box die; it's fabulously easy to use! Then I stamped the baby's initials on the card stock with the Define Your Life Alphabet set. The circle and star were cut from SU! punches.

Oh, and inside there was enough room for 2 balls of Lindt chocolate. The brown paper package (not tied up with string, ...) was whipped up from the extra wrapping that SU! uses when they ship packages. It's totally recycled and re-used, and more importantly, large enough to hold 2 Ghiradelli chocolates.
