Visit from In-Laws

As you may or may not know, my in-laws are here visiting from Egypt, so they've gotten to see me stamp quite a bit while they've been here.
So, while I was working on some card designs for a make and take, they decided to join in.

Here's a card that my mother-in-law made.

My father-in-law took my idea, and said I should give it a twist. He likes how things look when your eye is drawn to the "thirds" instead of "smack-dab" in the middle. So, these two cards he helped me design.

The idea actually came from a card that I saw Claire demo a few years back, when this stamp set was new. I like how she made it look like wallpaper using the tone-on-tone stamping along with the whisper white craft ink.
I incorporated heat embossing into the medallion; I've been having fun with my new heat tool.

Hi, the cards are lovely! Hey I just noticed that you posted on my blog. I added a link to your blog from the text about the wedding favor that you made. It was lovely, and I appreciate the inspiration! I will add your blog to my links as well.
